People with dementia can still enjoy life.  Even if their language is impaired and they live in the moment, it is still possible for them to live a life of pleasure and joy- sharing simple activities, such as music, baking and walks in nature are profound experiences that enable them to lead a fulfilling life.  As a caregiver these are the moments that can provide us with a rewarding sense of purpose.
