VIDEO: Freedom Trail

February 2, 2014

The Vicarage by the Sea, voted the Best of Midcoast 2013 residential care facility, is pleased to announce the opening of its Freedom Trail along scenic Casco Bay.

“The Vicarage mission recognizes the human need and desire regardless of age or ailment for connection with the beauty of nature and its healing properties” (Whitehouse et al. 2012).  The Freedom trail, a handicapped accessible path, meanders through woods and ends at a sitting area overlooking Casco Bay.

Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate the Freedom Trail

The Vicarage invited the community to visit the Ribbon Cutting ceremony on October 10, 2013, at 10:00am. We are pleased to share with you our latest enhancement in dementia care.

Special thanks to Lee Arnott of Sweet Thunder Productions for the production of this video showcasing our new Freedom Trail!
